They've looked terrific the last two nights. That said, they'll get blasted in the NCAAs.

This year, I'm not counting out anyone that draws a 4 seed or worse.

seriously, ETSU needs to find a way to move out of the A-Sun. The conference's RPI is horrible and that along with ETSU not playing anybody outside the conference got them a 16 seed. There was talk of moving out of the A-Sun to either the OVC or Big South

in terms of conference RPI, yes.

The Atlantic Sun has the 28th best conference RPI in the nation...only three conferences are worse. OVC is 23 and Big South is 25. Again, atleast a little better than the A-Sun. There was also some talk about the Atlantic 10 expanding and ETSU going there...which I would be all in favor of. It seems like a long shot but it would be a hell of an improvement. 8 best conference RPI wise but I really don't see it happening.

yup. atleast the OVC's bottom feeders are atleast schools you've heard of. in the A-sun you have teams like North Florida, USC Upstate, and Kennasaw State at the bottom...who?

Moving up to th A-10 would be a huge deal. I can't wait for the day that we move up to a better conference, but that day will not come until ETSU gets a new athletics director.

I think that ETSU could handle a better conference and I think our fan base might recover if we can put this A-sun debocal well behind us.

Mullins isn't the problem. $$$ is. Every other conference would want nicer facilities, something ETSU is working towards. A baseball stadium and better basketball arena would go a long way into get ETSU into a much better conference. Mullins is making sure he can get the most out of every dollar.

One could argue that building the basketball arena first could have helped bring the money in to help build all the new facilities, but this route might make an upgrade to a better conference quicker.

I think the A10 dream is fun to think about, but I'm just talking about an upgrade to anywhere, most likely the OVC.

Yeah, I've noticed all the national attention garnered by Eastern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, and SIU-Edwardsville.

The top of the A-Sun is better than the top of the OVC and nobody except hoop junkies and degenerate gamblers give the first damn about the bottom of either league.

I wouldn't consider the OVC an upgrade I would rather wait and move back into the southern conference where there is atleast potential to renew old rivalries.

or move into C-USA if we are ever able to get football back.
