amazing that we won as a 5th seed without our best payer Mike Smith. He played in 4 games this year due to a stress fracture in his leg but got a medical redshirt and will be back next season. Bucs should be even better next year. They don't lose much at all

They're currently projected to take on KSU in the first round as a #16. I'd love to see them give the effort they gave in the Pitt game last year.

KSU is about to lose to Iowa State. doubtful KSU gets a 1 seed. Might be Duke or Sryacuse now

I was at the game. Mercer just couldn't come up with a run in the 2nd half and then free throw shooting sunk them at the end.

It was amazing how even the A-Sun was this year from top to bottom.

1 game separated the #1 seed from the #5 seed

there was a 4 way tie for first place in the conference. with the rule of "if you win your regular season but lose in your conference tournament you get an auto bid to the NIT" it got a little crazy with all 4 teams and no tie breaker. so they determined whoever got farther in the conference tournament would represent the A-Sun in the NIT and since Lipscomb (#1 seed), Belmont (#3 seed), and Campbell (#4 seed) all lost in the first round and Jacksonville (#2 seed) made it to the semifinals, Jacksonville will be going to the NIT for the 2nd straight season

. . . and Mercer was the #6 seed and when healthy could play with any of those teams. It was no fluke that they made the conference final; especially playing in front of a packed house at home.

I don't think there was a single tournament game decided by more than about 8 points.
