ETSU is good (per the ASun) and they are peaking at the right time. This isn't a surprise to anyone who followed conference play. They hit the skids for about 3-4 games last month, but ended the regular season nicely.

ETSU will be dreadful next season though without Tiggs and Pigram.

Damn right. Went to the game against Mercer last weekend when Pigram hit 10 3's. He is so good.

I really believe they will have no problem in the championship game. They are playing great right now.

Nothing is a gimme with ETSU under Murray Bartow. I went to about 10 home games this year and seen some great games played by both Tiggs and Pigram. They are really good ball players. Hope they make it to "The Dance".

What do you think of Isiah Brown?

I think he'll be a very good player in the near future.

long, lean, athletic, with very good potential. he'll be a good one in the future and we'll depend on him a lot next year. Mike Smith will no doubt be the go to guy next year. One of the most under rated players in the conference. Averages 15 points and 7 boards a game and still couldn't make All A-Sun. Another guy that has alot of potential is Adam Sollazzo. And don't forget about Alabama transfer, Justin Tubbs. Dude is an athletic freak and he'll be a main guy for the Bucs next year

Forgot about Tubbs, but Smith will suffer greatly without Pigram and Tiggs keeping the pressure off of him.

Can't disagree with you on anything you said in that post :good!:

I really like Adam, he's a PTPer and I completely forgot about Tubbs.

and Seth Coy also has a lot of talent and potential as a big man in the post for the Bucs, but is it me or does ETSU have to keep one goofy lookin' dude on the team? We finally got rid of Swader and then Coy comes in

yeah, JT has become one of my good friends up at State. Very nice guy and a cool dude. He's also smart. Made the A-Sun honor roll this year.

but when you really think about it, this team is loaded with some young talent. Brown (r-FR) Sollazzo (FR) Jarvis Jones (FR) Tommy Hubbard (SO) Coy (FR) Micah Williams (SO) JC Ward (FR currently redshirting) and then Tubbs will be a Junior next year. Mike Smith will be the only senior on next year's squad

Is Ward the white dude from GA? If so, we talked a little in Quiznos the other night. Said he was redshirting..Seemed pretty cool.

Score with 11 minutes left: Jacksonville 68 Lipscomb 41. There's a reason Jacksonville was the regular season champ.

6 mins left and Lipscomb has pulled it to 75-62. Jacksonville is obviously better but Lipscomb has been hot and they're on their home court. Jacksonville is a very well rounded team and it's going to be hard as hell for the Bucs to beat them tomorrow if they hold on to win

Jacksonville wins 88-72. Playing in Nashville was no advantage for Belmont or Lipscomb tonight.
