Even at 5-7 I don't want it to end.

Trust me I understand that a 5-7 season in our program is nothing to be proud of. But going into games last year I couldn't help but feel like we would find a way to loose with Dooley. With Butch Jones at the helm this year no matter who the opponent and how outmatched we were I thought we would find a way to win.

The future is Bright on the hill and I can't wait to watch this coach continue bringing us closer to where we all want to be.

I for one am glad this season is over and excited about the future of UT football. Im ready to see bUTch and Co get more of their players in and build the program the way its supposed to be.

I found myself feeling a bit sad today as well. I always hate for the season to end but it's encouraging to know that better days are ahead.

Until Tennessee signs a dynamic playmaker at QB I do not see it getting drastically better any time soon. Sure, we may go 6-6 next year, but is 6-6 really our goal?

Every season ends too fast. That's what's great about college football. Every game is life & death. Bad part is it ends too quick.

Freak..very encouraging, first time in a while we have ended a season looking forward to what is to come in stead of hoping there is a new coaching search.

"Better days are ahead?" Freak, I know you can take it but you really opened yourself up with that statement!

I feel sad but encouraged ...

I am glad this year is over, I attended 5 of 7 home games including Usce, aub, and Vandy. I saw the best and the worst. Team 117 was an awful product on the field to watch, but we had more excuses this year than passing yards.

How can better days not be ahead? I have to believe rock bottom is behind us at this point. Right? :)

I'm not looking for real deep stats, but won't most of our competition lose a lot of seniors this year? Please tell me yes.
