I don't know about throwing this administration under the bus, not yet anyways. But i'd give a lot of the blame to Mike Hamilton. How in the world do you hire a mid major coach with a losing record over Kevin Sumlin because of his "organizational skills" ???

Ummmm...... Then he's done a crappy job at that too. Tennessee is barely ranked in the top 100 undergraduate universities in the nation. We're almost dead last in the SEC. Would someone please fire THAT prick?!?!

I replied to the wrong thread accidently. Replying to the fact that Doolander was hired over Sumlin because of "organizational skills,"which is ridiculous. Typical stereotype - all white people more organized than black people.

Hamilton never played or coached anything he was a accountant leading an athletic Department. He had no idea what it takes to win ball games. Yes the facilty up grades are wonderful but that's all he did.

Dooley was rush hire , like i thought he was from the beginning.. I really think Hamilton was more worried about getting anyone in there.. He did more damage with that thought process than he did good.. He was a complete disaster as a AD.. Followed closely by Cheek being a complete disaster as Chancellor...Perfect storm of moronic thought coming from the higher ups..

No sh**. An epic disaster like this does not have a single root cause. Hamilton of course is a central figure but had to have the dumbassery of cheek and I'm sure more than a few others in the mix. I am at the point that I am so shell shocked I still have trouble believing that this is not just a bad dream.
