Berry could have ended peytons career but pulled up and barely touched him. Proof the vol for life is a brotherhood even in fierce football games. Eric Berry did give broncos wide reciever Wes Welker a concussion though in the 4th quarter.

Not wanting to get a personal foul penalty was more likely the reason. Could have ended Peyton's career? Maybe but I'm pretty sure Peyton's been hit before.

no one hits harder in the nfl than eric berry. maybe i am bias but oh well.

Bernard Pollard, Vince wilfork, Patrick Willis, Ryan Clark, Loran Landry, Kam Chancellor, and Lance Briggs would like to have a word about this...

You might not have seen Revis, Pollard, or merriweather play.... They got some hit stick abilites, not saying Berry doesn't but they hit pretty hard

Are you serious? Umbrella man missed the block on the grassy knoll side of the field according to the Zapruder film.

No this would not have ended his career. When I see post like this are they serious, are they not, I guess now the answer will be...sarcasim?

Watching Wilfork (torn Achilles tendon) try to chase Peyton (bum ankles) could possibly take longer than it does for some people to comprehend what "in the NFL" means.

The sentiment is probably correct but the facts? Nah. Peyton's been hit thousands of times and unless Eric was gonna go for his knees he wasn't gonna 'end Peyton's career' IMO. If a defensive player literally lays a hand on a QB in the NFL after said QB has releases the ball it's a penalty. My guess is he preferred not to get a penalty.

yeah i should have said one of the hardest hitting players currently in the nfl. especially for his size. and yes berry could have taken peyton out.

Chuck Cecil, Dick Butkus, Dick Lane, Mike Curtis beg to differ.

Pulling out some "old school" names from back when real men had scabs on their broken noses.

I doubt they hit very hard anymore: I think Peyton is safe.

Yes he COULD have taken him out but so could many others in the NFL if they hit him right.

there won't be anymore harder hitters than the guys before the rule changes. Chuck Cecil was absurd. Lott. All the guys who used the clothesline. They'd tape their shoulders and elbows in place and make their arms a robotic weapon with headshots.
