If the crew had called the obvious pass interference in the first half that would have set them up for a field goal, and the reversed call on the 3rd and 9 play in the second half , or the 2 point conversion in the 3rd OT period. Missouri did more than enough to win the game. Tenn. didn't help there cause buy sitting on the ball with 17 seconds to go before halftime when they could have gotten in field goal range ( I know OMG it's Pallardy). The famous Dooley timeout before one of there touchdowns, although the d we had stopped them. As sad as it is I think Doc, Jeff and Heather could coach them better.

The 2 point conversion was clearly not a catch. I don't know what Andre Ware was thinking, but that is basic football rules. If your heel comes down it must be in bounds. That has not changed for as long as I have been watching.

Doc, Jeff, and Heather could also make a more informative post.

Maybe I don't understand the rule as well as you but maybe you could clarify something for me, why that is not a catch when he had the front of his foot down but it was a catch when Zach rodgers drug no more of the top of his toes in the end zone last week? Seriously explain that to me

If you drag your toe going out of bounds, that's fine... if your foot is coming down, if your heel touches after your toe does, and your heel is out of bounds, you are out of bounds. I think its worded the play countinues through, same reason that one interception didn't count for A&M tonight too.

If the player has his back to the line he has to get the heal down inbounds but if he's facing the line he only has to drag the toe. That's how they explained it on the broadcast anyway. Same thing came up in the Bama game on a sideline interception and they gave the same explanation.

If the only part of your foot hits in bounds your good, if your toe hits in bounds, and the completion of that step causes your heel to hit out of bounds, it's not good.

Essentially if he would have caught the ball over his shoulder and dragged his toe it would have been a good catch. But because he turned his body to catch it, his heel landed out of bounds. And made it not a catch

Congrats, you have been entered in tonight's dumbest thread drawing. Voting will take place at midnight. You are running neck and neck with the thread about Dooley going for 2 in the third OT rather than kicking the PAT for the win.

Is it too late to nominate the infamous "crickets" post??
