Anyone familiar with it? It's a mass mailing from USPS. I'm considering using it to send out flyers for my Lawn Care and Landscaping business. Its 17.5 cents per peice. Just curious if anyone had used it and seen a return on investment, or if you'd recommend going a different route.

Idk anything about that, but at one point our local post office told our church that they would put a flyer At every address for .33 each.

Expect 8-10 new customers per 100.

Did you design your own mailing or have someone do it for you?

Kind of both really. My logo and such.

What I actually had the best results with was door hangers. I would hit a subdivision with lawns all close to the same size. Put a price on all of the equal to one another. Hit every house. I came in low on mowing and made up for it on "additional" services. Every customer is different.

But you know as well as I do, you can drop the tailgate for a little less money if you are doing 10 houses on the same street as opposed to driving all over town.

I work for the post office. I've had many business owners tell me the return is defintely worth it.

I'd rather have a ground of nice small yards together than higher paying jobs spread out anyday. The money is in controlling expenses and time management for sure. I'm going to look into the door hangers. That sounds like an awesome idea.

Exactly. In lawn maintenance is all about time management.
I haven't mowed commercially in 4 to 5 years now. I miss the money and freedom. I've been asked to go back in business. Just don't know if I want to or not.

I wish you the best of luck. Let me know how it comes out.

That's a fantastic return. Most direct mail has a 1-2% response rate and 1-2% conversion of of response.

I really believe I hit at the right time to be honest. My numbers were well above average. It also helped that my trucks were seen all over town, including mowing 22 schools and associated properties and 11 state parks.
