I was reading the matchups this week at foxsports and after I read the UT vs Notre game I caught myself in deja vu ....

Notre Dame doesn't have a bowl bid secured yet, and still has Pittsburgh and USC to go, but this is a great spot to pull off a huge upset with the Vols coming off the tough game at South Carolina

How many times this year have we heard vols coming off of a tough game are set for upset!

I guess instead of "Don't hate the player hate the game" it could be "Don't hate the writer hate the media" :bash:

This is the third team in a row "trying to get bowl elligible against a Vol team that looks poised to be upset". I think the other two are still reeling, wondering why they STILL aren't elligible. Give me a break. No respect.

I don't think the media is that biased against UT... I mean, which teams in the BCS (outside of Auburn and USC) don't look like they could easily have an upset game?

That means that we are that good. As we've learned this season, bigger upsets are possible. If we are at the point where a team that's lurking outside of the standings (ND) can shoot up by beating us, I'd say that's a testament to how we're doing.

As far as our own ranking goes, if we win out then beat Auburn, we are set.

No respect is right!

This is college football so any team could be upset any week, DUH, but to pick Tennessee to be upset every week is crazy!

NOTE TO MEDIA AND COACHS- OUR ONLY LOSE WAS A EARLY LOSE TO AUBURN!
