While it doesn't confirm that FLA was dodging the game if those email quotes are true it does show the mindset of the LSU athletic dept. That they thought FLA was ducking them and it was ckicken ****. Kinda what the rest of us were thinking too!

Florida was trying to gain a competitive advantage and they succeeded. Congrats, Gator fans.

Also, if both teams were going to ineligible for the division title if they didn't play 8 conference games, why didn't the commissioner mention that when asked in the interviews immediately following the incident?

Because he apparently didn't know about it until reading it on VN.

Late in the process, the SEC found an interpretation of the rules within its bylaws that essentially stated that in order for teams to participate in the SEC championship game in Atlanta, they had to play their eight scheduled league games.

UF got what they wanted. 2 bye weeks in the middle of the season to improve chances of running the table on arky, Georgia, and lsu. If you don't think bye weeks mean something, look at us and Arky's score in our last games.

Sankey should still be forced out. He made Goodell look like the most competent person in the world.

You sure you're not thinking of the NFL?
