I read about the fox experiment several years ago. Pretty fascinating stuff, especially how few generations it takes for a fairly significant change.

So basically a humans need to fill emotional inadequacies has led to the DE-evolution of animals we use as pets thus ensuring their dependency on man forever. Nice.

Are they dogs or are they not? Have they evolved into a different species?

I fully understand evolution and how organisms adapt.

No informed evolutionist would expect them to evolve into another species in the time frame that we are discussing.

You don't understand this and/or you're just saying pointless **** for the hell of it.

Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.

Canine family, yes. Same genus, but develop different species characteristics. Enough different characteristics and they become a different species.

I'm with you and understand completely. But for the most part they can still interbreed, correct?
