I don't think Chris Jones is going to be a Vol. We have our PG for 2013.

Yea i may be way off base here but I really don't see Chris jones as a ccm type of player. He was willing to take him this year but now with Landry coming in I feel he wants no part of jones. It also is kind of a tie to the previous staff which I'm sure he would prefer to stay away as much as possible.

I was reading their stats the other night and he looks solid. Undefeated and pretty much owning folks. It is JUCO and he's obviously a lot better than the comp. Would love to see what he does in the SEC.

Chris Jones is even more of a score first PG than Golden isn't he?

yes chris is definitely a score first pg even more so than golden is. if he was taller hed be a legitimate sg but being only about 5'8" or so he has no other choice but to be a pg. he also doesnt always buy in defensively and youll catch him taking some plays off on the defensive end. there is absolutely no way anybody can question his scoring ability though, he really can probably keep pace with anybody in the country on a given night.

I'm happy for Forbes and Jones, but I don't see too many high-major schools looking to pick up a sub six-foot, shoot first PG. Maybe I'll be wrong, but Jones may be headed the mid-major route.

I have seen Chris Jones play several times. He can flat out play the game and will be on a major college team. Hopefully the attitude concerns have improved.....

i would have to agree with this from everything i have seen and heard. i dont think to the level of a unc or duke but i definitely expect him to be picked up by a pretty good team. he is too good of a player for a potential top 25 team that is looking to make a run in the next couple years to pass on. i could definitely see calhoun bringing him in to replace lamb as he will probably leave after this year, and calhoun has had 2 scoring pg's now in the last 2 years that have had great success.

yeah that guy we have for 13 sucks compared to chris jones. I would take jones all day over some lame point guard. We need a guard that can take over games not just manage it thats why I want jones!

i dont want jones either. under pearl would be one thing but he is not the type of player that will thrive under martin. he is too much about himself and mainly about himself on offense and not defense. he would not fit into this system and his ego would just get in the way as well. i honestly could see him being joe jaskson but for us with the problems that they have had. id rather stay away and cut all ties with the previous pearl recruits if possible.

Okaloosa-Walton Community College. Love it. I took classes there while I was in the military at Hurlburt Field. Love your avatar by the way...hilarious!

Is that down there on a corner in PCB just near the bridge over the bay?

Not a bad little spot if so.

This shows me you know nothing about Travon Landry, or the style Coach Martin wants.
