IMO, I don't see how he still has so much support. I've never smoked weed, but if people do, it doesn't really bother me. However, in Da'Rick's case, he was most likely told multiple times, "If you fail this test again, you will be kicked off the team, per university policy." Then, he went and did it. Putting weed too high on your priority list is when I start having problems with people smoking weed. IMO, weed was higher on his list than his teammates, his coaches, his college education, and being a Vol. And that is a problem.

Well, wish someone would have been tough on him sooner. It's the lesson he needed and I wish him all the best and hope he looks back on this as the best thing that happened to him. We've all had some event in our lives where a door slammed winds up being the right call.

If Hunter wasn't back and CP had turned out to be a bust, I wonder what people's feelings toward Da'Rick would be. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the kid. If he turns it around and finds success, that's fine. Kids make mistakes. My issue is, he made the same one multiple times. The last time, knowing it would get him kicked off the team, he still did it anyway. That's not a guy I want on my team.
