I've watched the administration administrate.

I've watched the coaches coach.

I've watched the players play.

In any organization / school / business, if there is inconsistency at the top, there will be inconsistency throughout the rest of the program.

We have inconsistent leadership, and it's showing in our play.

On the surface "it's just a game" certainly rings true. But dig a little deeper and you'll find an athletic program that doesn't have an identity, and in the end, that's very unfair to the athletes they've brought in. It's as if they're rolling the dice and hoping for the best.

I guess it's easy to rail and call for heads to roll, but honestly, I'm not sure changes can be made until the school decides where it really wants to go.

Until then we'll get a pendulum swinging back and forth between sluggish decisions to knee-jerk decisions...

The University of Tennessee has a responsibility to shape young hearts and minds. It also has the responsibility to help shape students' futures.

Students/athletes MUST find an anchor in their leadership, and right now we're flailing around in the ocean.

Sadly, for a wildly faithful fanbase, a 1-point loss on the road that we should have won is the least of our problems.

Maybe one day someone at the top will have the balls to do what must be done to right the ship.

Until then...go Vols.

just for you, I'll make an elementary version:

from the athletic director to the current coaching staff, we have major inconsistent leadership. Hell, our head coach can't even tell the truth when asked a simple question.

MAIN POINT: As long as we have inconsistent leadership at the top, we'll have inconsistent play on the floor.

ThaGodfather? Do you actually have anything intellectual to say, or do you just pick fights with people to get a rise out of them? Please stop your incredibly annoying and immature. This isn't just from your response above it's from your other dumb comments in the other threads.

Thanks, i'll take that as a compliment. I'll come back and apologize after our march to the final four.

I actually understood your point. It's just that that there are about 713 other threads here saying the same thing.

We aren't going to the Final Four, never said we were. I think we lose in the first or second round in the tournament. I do think we close out the regular season strong and play well in the SEC tournament. That's all I am predicting, didn't mention anything about the NCAA's, so you and I are probably on the same page regarding our success in the NCAA's.

If Tatum does not choke on his free throws, we win this game and Pearl has done it again in Gainesville. The guy chokes and the whole group is to blame. Would you have posted this if Tatum had not choked?

yes.

My post wasn't about winning or losing, it was about consistency on the floor of play. Which we have none.

The game should not have been close enough for Tatum's free throws to even matter.

it wasn't just Tatums free throws that he should have made Hopson missed at least 3 and Tatum's bad timing 3's after a UF make killed us
