Excellent article on our 14 early enrollees

Two things these EEs demonstrate, and it has been BuJo's best attributes so far:

1. Locking down the in-state talent
2. Effective national recruiting

This was a hallmark of the 1990s.

Good write up. Thanks rex.

The only part I didn't like was "Williams and Charles Mosley are the only true defensive tackle prospects in Tennessee's class".

Dang auburn.

Great list and glad to have them on campus and the weight room especially!

Surprised not to see Bates on the list?? Did I miss something?? Did AJ's announcement change that??

No, he evidently was never an EE. I was mistaken about this as well

I'd be willing to bet Barnett and Thomas will very likely be turned into tackles upon arriving.

So it was Henderson as the final of the 14... and not Creamer ...

With respect to Creamer, Evan Woodbery stated that "A 15th possible early enrollee, receiver Neiko Creamer, won't be coming until the summer. Creamer, an Elkton, MD., native, had long planned to arrive in January. But with 15 players for 14 available January slots, the Vols opted not to take a chance on anyone who might present hurdles with the NCAA Clearinghouse, which verifies the academic qualifications of student-athletes. Creamer had attended several high schools, which sometimes can slow the approval process with the NCAA. Creamer is still expected to sign with the rest of the class in February and enroll in the summer. The Vols are likely to sign at least 16 more prospects on the traditional National Signing Day on Feb. 5" (published in the Tennessean; the full article is not accessible from their website).

I like the distribution of the EEs across the various positions. A couple of guys at each of OL, DL, TE, and CB, not to mention finally getting a big-time RB (hopefully).

I'm going to read this because it's written by P Brown. My favorite UT writer. Had a hiccup last year with getting a little ahead of himself, but I hope he learned from that. And just sticks to writing the facts without to much bias, and not trying to be the first with the news. I'm saying this cause I'm sure he is on here somewhere. Don't turn into that "guy/journalist"

No homo, but does anyone else want clips of the weight room, and our offseason winter and spring conditioning?

CBJ stated multiple times that despite improvements in players' S&C from the last Dooley year, we needed more conditioning and stamina as a team, and especially for the Freshman that the need to play them was pushing back their physical development since they were on season lifting regimens vs. development and conditioning regimens. I kinda want a window into all the Vols busting their *ss in conditioning to bust some people's butts on the field this fall.
