Nobody probably cares... but someone just walked past me wearing a Vols hoodie! It's been over 6 months since I last saw that and it wasn't in the mirror!

Maybe this state does have some potential afterall... not.

God I wish I were on ol' Rocky Top...

I can dig it bro. I get excited here and then I realize that the big T is for Texas. It kills me that they will often depart from the brown color that they call orange for the real orange of Tennessee and when that happens I end up very homesick

I was watching the game last weekend here in Boston and a guy came up to chat: he and his son were watching the game..and they were from Maryville. It was good to hear that accent again.

During my time in Germany it was always treat when a soldier came up to me when I was wearing my orange and we'd talk UT football. That was furthest away.

Now I'm in FL. The number of Vol fans around here is surprising. A pretty good number actually. Still nice to see the occasional Power T on a car or hat.

Since the Oregon/Oklahoma game I'm often torn when someone makes a Texas reference to my hat. I either reply is that your Oregon university hat or is it owned university?

I had a jeep with a T on the spare tire cover and someone said, "All right, a Tigers fan" (as in, Clemson Tigers):shakehead: I HATE Clemson. You have to be in upstate SC for a while to realize how moronic Clemson fans are.

You live in Boston? Yeah..I had that problem earlier this year when OSU played Texas. My wife is a big OSU fan, so I wore an OSU shirt and my UT hat. I had people looking at me like I was crazy. Since then, I still get a lot of Texas comments. It drives me nuts.

I got so fed up with the Texas "fans" asking me about my Power-T hat that I either (a.) wear a hat that says Tennessee on the front or (b.) my Superman hat.

There's a kid in my English 101 class that always wears a Florida shirt with a Texas hat... at first I thought it was a Tennessee hat (because it was white and there was just the T on it) until I saw that stupid cow on the other side.

I've given up on anything orange here in Illinois because it's either Illinois or Chicago Bears... Someone want to put me up for a week or so while I visit Tennessee? LOL... Oh do I miss the days of being 3 months old and then moving to hell...

I saw someone in the huge mall outside of Atlanta on I-20 last spring wearing a "Volnation" tee shirt. My wife and were on our way back from the beach. I always wished I had asked the person who he was. Could have been GaVol?

My wife usually wears her "Tennessee" shirt so that I can wear my power T shirt and cap ... as long as I am with her, I can avoid most confusion...good thing...that's probably saved countless peoples' lives.
