Guys, fill me in on what has been happening with our Lady Vols......Been out of town for awhile with a friend....She needed company to make sure no bad guys would hurt her.....I couldn't say no, but no internet chat was her only requirement....

What happened to the tall girl that so many had high hopes for? Where did she go?

Now I see this exhibition game is not on SEC plus, or whatever...Any back doors for us fans?

GameTime is on the scene.

Thanks guys....I was not a big fan of the girl that went to LSU...Such is life.

I believe Coach Kellie likes the portal to fill her immediate needs, however there are a few special girls, in later classes, she will make a big play for.

It sure is good to be home....I really missed my dogs.

SEC+ is the play...

Let me say it now..."Justine for 3!"

GT, this is Gus, he is a young, only one but destined to be a great one I think. I know I told you before, but his dad’s name was Rooster…fine dog.

CJ, I think I speak for all here, going to be exciting watching her enter college ball, she has the makings of a great one. A lot of experienced and talented players on this LV roster ahead of her, but she should make a mark even in her freshman year. Her range is crazy. Give her some time this year, let her get comfortable and relaxed in the college setting, it will come.

Watching her in the all star type games it seems she is very unselfish and doesn’t look for herself first, but I think when she knows she is needed for her team she will show out. Looks like a team first gal, but has the tools to one day be the go to type when called upon.

With the way Pissott, Puckett, Suarez played it be hard not give them good playing time most games. There no need for two or four players to get 25-32 mins most games.

Mudcat, there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to wear every opponent down to exhaustion with all the steady waves of fresh bodies that'll be coming at them. Those opposing coaches who can really only go seven or so deep without suffering a tremendous drop-off are going to have nightmares trying to prepare for this Tennessee team.

I liked to see hoston on plays were she jump and made basket Then she hit floor and roll over. Maybe Horston should pull up and shot and if she misses fine. Cut down on hitting floor you never know how many hard falls before there goes knee or something else

Good observation. You're right, and you just now reminded me about the one thing about Jordan's game yesterday that wasn't perfect: I, too, wished she'd pull up sooner. I'm now remembering at least twice yesterday she drove just one step further in before pulling up than I was comfortable with, because more savvy defenders are going to be ready to turn that into a momentum-killing offensive charge call. With her history of getting whistled for that, I'm sitting here hoping the staff makes a quick correction there. We do NOT need her getting up in the air only after a defender is already under her to possibly come down awkwardly on! 😲

I noticed it as well. It will definitely be on our opponents’ scouting report. She can either pull up or kick it out before driving in too deep. The two times that it happened yesterday, we had players who were open. Like you, I’m hoping the staff makes a quick adjustment. She will be needed on the floor!

If we non-professionals saw it, then I am 100% certain the staff saw it. Question is, will just a few practices be enough for Jordan to break that habit? I have to wonder if that's something that's already come up since she does have a history of doing that. Really nailing the timing on that to pull up JUST short of the defender and then using that new Tweety Nolan-like elevation could mean the difference between the Elite 8 and Final Four. (No pressure, Horston! 😂)

IDK but I think Jordan has stopped taking that extra step that was called as a charge her first three seasons. She obviously wants to get close to use her size advantage but not so close as to trigger a good acting job.

Lol! We definitely need her on the floor. Outside of those two instances though, her movements were very, very smooth. She looked so good!
