This is strictly my opinion. But with such a big game I doubt Cuonzo plays everyone.

PG- Thompson 20/Barton 20
SG- McRae 30/Hubbs10
SF- Richardson 30/Hubbs 10
PF- Maymon 15/Moore 15/Davis 10
C- Stokes 30/Maymon 10

I'm not sure how the PG minutes will work with Thompson starting. I also wouldn't be shocked if Maymon only got 10 minutes at PF with Moore getting 20 or Davis getting 15 instead.

If you were to set the over/under on minutes for Jordan at 30, I would take the over.

(Tonight only AND assuming it is a close game)

If Stokes stays out of foul trouble we should win and win comfotably. If not it changes things significantly.

They really have been raving over the Xavier center, even to the extent of saying he may be in the top 3 centers/big men we face all year. Does anyone agree? Or is this just over-hype and coach speak?

I agree with all of it. I think Barton could see 25, but that'll depend on how he looks. I do think Maymon sees more than the 20 Martin said he would play.

Need our bigs to stay out of foul trouble tonight and dominate the glass.

I have a feeling that I am going to be very frustrated watching the officiating over the first few weeks of the season.

Going to have a lot more influence on the results.
Can call the touch fouls on just about every possession if they want to.

Have you looked at rpiforecast lately?
Give us a 45% shot in this game.
18-10 finish. (not showing atlantis of course)
Need to light it up early.

Looking forward to the game tonight! IMO, this will be a good test for the Vols to start the season but I think they will pull away and win between 10-15 points.

Didn't Cuonzo say he will likely give Maymon 20 minutes a game?

I must say, that is not the image I conjure of a guy who would give Jarnell Stokes trouble, at least at basketball. :)

However, one should not judge a book by its cover.

My first thought too, and was gonna include if this guy gives Stokes fits he should forget about the NBA, but as you said......

Yes, he did later go on to say it's more he'll monitor how he's moving and not specifically his exact minutes. So if Maymon looks good I would say he will likely get more than 20 minutes, assuming its a close game.

I hope it's not a close game when they have 3 injuries
