Hey, I've got an idea. Instead of extending a head coach's contract through 2010 after one better-than-expected season (though ND did extend Weiss' contract through 2015 after only 6 games...wtf!?), maybe UT should make our stocky little coach stay on his game by letting his contract come dangerously close to expiring. I've been on Sanders' case for years, but I'm starting to think that the problem extends a bit higher. And so are a lot of other VASF contributors and Vol fans I know and love. Heads had better roll after this season...and if you need names, I have a list.

Tonite we saw the beginning of the end of the Fulmer regime. It was a battle of wits between Fulmer/Sanders vs. Spurrier (with much less talent). NO CONTEST!!! It want be us peons that bring him down but the $ people like that Pilot Oil guy. And none too soon.

Agree, give Phil one more year, if he doesn't produce, buy the SOB out, good riddance.

Who knows, Hamilton may give CPF a "bonus" after a "possible" win over Kentucky and Vandy. Remember when CPF got a bonus before the bowl game that we lost terribly? You never know what "the good ol' boys" have up their sleeves. As long as fans continue to fill the stadium and bring in the MONEY to UT, the majority of the "powers that be" will continue to support CPF program.
