Nobody wants this job that already has success...ccs will try his arse off and if he comes here. I think he will be a bit above blahblah but nobody else wants it...arkansas got one on us imo

Strong has had success. How did Arky do anything to us if they hired a coach we didn't want? A coach with zero ties to Texas or the SE I might add.

Arkansas got a guy who complains about "dirty" recruiting tactics and didn't want his previous conf to turn into the SEC. Good luck with that one Bret :lol:

He is one of the best Defensive minds in the game. His kids will go through a brick wall for him. He was the gator's best recruiter while he was there. 3 yrs before he came to Louisville, their winning % was .41. With him, Louisville has had 3 winning seasons and 3 bowls. In his 3rd year he has led his team to a BCS Bowl. He makes almost 3 mil a year. That sounds like success to me.

trying to figure this out too. CDD sucked.. we now may have someone 1000000 times better than CDD and all we get is "we could have done better"

It like ignoring the woman you do have because you didn't land Cindy Crawford...sheesh

:lolabove: Nick Saban and Urban Meyer had zero ties to the Southeast before they came to LSU and FL.

Lmao. Arkansas got a guy that has great offensive lines, and great running backs. Defense is never great in the major conference he plopped his ass in for a decade. Never brought in top notch classes. We got the best of the hogs.

:birgits_giggle:Urban Meyer has done better without Strong. He was undefeated his last year at Utah and his first year OSU.

I'm afraid your right. We suck and it's hard to recruit to UT and most coaches don't want any part of us because the job is one that is too difficult to have success anymore. It's very sad, but I'm beginning to think we'll never rise to be an SEC power again.
