Heck! The Vols haven't seen any "fair weather" since '07, so there are no fair weather fans. It great to be part of a fan base that us so ecstatic about their team, U.T. I believe, has the best fan base. You can see the passion for the team in just about everything. I love coming to East Tennessee and seeing everything decorated with orange and power Ts. Living down here in Dawg land it is going to be a great week of rivalry. Win or lose I will still be a Vol fan! GBO beat the puppies. :clapping:

This site is a good one but a few dips who never played the game !(couch coaches) type stupidly about the mistakes,which they have no clue of the cause! Study the game and figure out what you see and give Worley a break! He is getting better each week

Absolutely. Great Post. Too many people on this board define fair weather fans as those who don't agree with them (or don't worship whichever coach they are currently high on). In reality, if we all did not care very deeply we would not be here waisting our time endlessly arguing every little thing that has to do with our beloved Vols.

If 17 year old kids like Hurd, TKjr, & Bates can see how awesome the future is going to be with Butch at the helm of Tennessee Football...it is amazing how impatient fans can't :dunno:

LOL.. Fairweather fans bailed when Kif left in the middle of the night...

Nothing left here but dedicated posi and negavols..

One thing we all have in common.. a love for the Vols and a desire to see success on the field.

I'm just trying to be realistic. Some idiotic fans actually believe we have a decent chance to beat Georgia. I'm still a VOL and will support the team no matter what. But, be realistic. We have about a 5% chance of beating Georgia. This is the lowest I've ever seen the UT football program. I think even lower than Johnny Major's first year when we went 4-7. Our quarterback then was somewhat competent. Worley would have difficulty starting for Memphis. He has no level of competence and mediocre throwing ability. I appreciate him being a Vol and at least trying to compete-he just doesn't have it. Our running backs are below average, our linebackers are below average and our defensive backs and WR's are young. We need about 2-3 good years of recruiting to get to where we can field a competitive team in the SEC. What I'm looking for this year is to see improvement in the team to where we can give teams like Missouri and Vandy competitive games. We'll see.

I suppose they are better than no fans, but over time a team needs people who support and encourage the team and staff no matter what. Boy do I know about that! Good luck next game.

Years ago i would agree we had the best fans in college football. I do not think that is the case today. Some of you are an embarrassment to the orange.
