Just curious - because I never legally gamble - do you have to pay taxes on this? I did some research on the FanDuel site and it says after 600 dallars you are taxed. Is that just a net gain of 600 dollars or just a total winnings amount of 600 dollars, even if the overall net gain is significantly lower?

Yea you have to pay taxes on gambling winnings. They’re classified as income.
