To those of you that were there. Absolutely amazing atmosphere tonight, despite the woeful performance, despite the chilly night air, it's clear the fans were pulling for the seniors. IMO... it's also clear after watchign the players after the overturned call, just before vandy's last touch down, every player on the sidelines were on their feet and trying to get the fans on theirs.
Anyways.... Kudo's to the fans, and all the players for a spirited performance.

Thanks for this, lego126.

I would've loved to have been at the game tonight, but I live in California.

Growing up in Knoxville in the 70's and 80s' I learned to cheer for my Vols no matter what. Always respect the kind of fans who show up to support the team no matter what the record. That's what it means to be a VFL, in my opinion. You love your Vols… no matter what! Doesn't mean you don't grumble and complain when we suck, but you remain loyal.

Perseverance wins in the end!

All the fans that have stuck through the last (almost) 6 years deserve a pat on the back. 97,000 showing up to watch a 4-6 team play Vandy says a lot about the dedication of this fanbase.

It will take the full off-season to heal from this one, because I'm not sure you'd see the same level of attendance if we had another game at Neyland this season.

I was there tonight and the crowd was better than that performance we saw. It's to bad these seniors are not going to see a bowl game this season but it is what it is. I just hope that the kids take pride in the fact that UT has never lost 8 games and beat the tar out of UK.
