I haven't seen the last one, but this one has one thing going for it the other two didn't and that's screenwriter Steve Kloves he was the screenwriter for all the original HP films.

I rewatched the first two over the last couple of nights to freshen my memories. I hadn't seen the first one since I saw it in theaters when it came out and upon rewatching it I realized how much I really enjoyed it. It was a first time watch on the second in the series.

I rated the first one 4.5/5, the second 4/5 this 3rd installment for now I'm going with a 3.5/5.

I was disappointed in it. It seemed to drag at times. I can't believe I'm going to say this but I really didn't like Mads Mikkelsen he (like everything he's in) kept the same facial expression the whole film. I missed the charisma that Johnny Depp had on the role. One of my favorite characters from the first two films played by Katherine Waterston was in the film a whole 3 minutes tops.

I can't believe they are going to drag this Dumbledore/Grindelwald story to another film. We all know that Dumbledore eventually beats him to take the elder wand.
The parts I liked seeing Hogwarts and Kowalski's brief interactions with some of the students. I'd like to see more of this young Professor McGongall.

I enjoyed the first one twice. Couldn't finish the 2nd one, twice. Won't even try this one.

There are actually 2 more, at least.

I'll watch it when it comes to Peacock or something. The reviews have been pretty bad.

Watched this on HBO Max. Honestly it wasn't that bad; I mean that's me watching it for "free" from my home and not dropping $40 at the movies for it, but I watched the first 2 before I watched this one and I liked this one more than the 2nd one.
