I don't have my 2nd string back jamaal Charles in game one because my 4th string back SD chargers back Matthews has a better projection.

Bad idea? Should I go by projections mostly?

Second question, I'm stacked with WR and RB but have Andrew luck and josh Freeman as QB, I'm fine with luck but don't want freeman.

Should I trade Charles for Eli Manning and drop freeman?

Are you in like a 8 team league or something? How the heck did you end up with both? And dont do that trade.

Yea it's an 8 team, should I put Charles in?

Mathews has like an 8 point higher prediction.

This is my first year doing fantasy football.

Basically, should I mainly go off the predictions? I have Foster, Mathews and rashard mendenhall in as RB. They all have higher predictions then Charles.

Thats strange his prediction is that much higher than Charles, Charles should be predicted to have alot more points than Ryan Matthews. Do u know what kind of scoring it is?

I can't think of a circumstance barring injury that would cause me to play Ryan Mathews over Jamaal Charles. Unless you get points for being injury prone.

Mathews has been a disappointment for fantasy owners. My advice, if you have to start 2 rbs don't take Charles out of the lineup except for a bye week.

look at the scedule for freeman and see who he is playing on the bye weeks for luck. It might work out in your favor to play him. i had him last year and played him on bye weeks for peyton and he gave me pretty good points if i recall. If you have A.foster and J.Charles then thats your starters and bench matthews. Get rid of mendenhall he is a single down back.

I learned long ago not to go with the ESPN or Yahoo projections and instead go with my gut. Your gut should be telling you to stick with Charles. He's an every game starter at this point. It takes several weeks before we figure out who has a weak run defense then you can play to the better matchup.

I would go with Charles over Matthews as well. Dont trade for a QB. If you are in a 8 team league and each team is carrying 2 QB's then that leaves 16 other QB's that you could pick up as free agents. By the time Luck's bye rolls around you should know who is good and who isn't. Just dont wait too long to pull the trigger.

Don't pay any attention to those so called experts and their projections. Go with what teams they are playing against and your own instincts.

Also, what's Arian's updated status for Sunday? I'm not sure I wouldn't look at sitting him out instead of either of those guys until he proves he's ready.

Freeman was my #1 qb last year and got me decent points.

His coach confirmed a few days ago that he will play but will not receive his full workload. However, if you drafted him, you should play him. Even without a full workload he should still get you 50 yards and a TD.
