Fantasy Football: Is this fair

So we play in a keeper league. Last year, after the draft and before the first week of the season, I traded my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round players for another kid's 2nd and 3rd pick.

As a result, my league owner says that so that the other guy can keep his now two fourth round picks on his roster, my fourth pick in this draft is now forfeit. How the:furious3:is that fair?

What can I tell this guy?

Give the other guy your very best players and then quit the league. Then the league owner's league is ruined for him.
