this will be my third year for ff, and I absolutely love it but i still have a lot to learn. If you guys or girls have any tips let me hear them. We have 10 teams in our league managed by 8 guys and two girls and last year the other girl in my league made it to the finals in both of her leagues and yes she won one, it was her husband she beat in the championship.

You should join the VolNation league that checkerboard charly put together for us. There's a thread about it in the other sports forum.

well i hate to give tips but i will give one. watch out fot this. willie roaf has retired and he anchored that o line. i know i might not mean much, but you would be surprised.


plus i have the first pick in our league, so move on b/c lj is mine.

Why do you get the first pick? Did you make the draft order based on the order we joined the league?

i just joined another one on fox and they use defensive players in thiers.


and their number 1 db is freakin Gibril Wilson. wow.


i didnt realize he had 114 tackles last year. great job.

I played in a league where they use the individual defensive players once... I'll just say I prefer the whole team defense concept.

This isn't a complaint or a way tot ry and get you to change the scoring around or anything CBC, but it's gonna be pretty low-scoring in our VN league. Some of the boys and I would put together a fantasy league every season and the scores were incredible. We'd get like 800 points a week. I notice with our VN scoring system, Peyton had about 220 or so fantasy points with his numbers last year... that was the average game for a QB in our league. :lol:

Change what? The draft order? If they don't mind the ordered draft order, I'll be fine with it too. Just throwing it out there.

I say either randomize it, or allow people to choose their draft slot, in the order they signed up, that way there is some reward for those that were eager to join. Charlie made it known on day one draft order would be order you signed up, so people shouldnt be punished.

Whatever we do, do it quick, because when I draft will determine my draft prep.

I see how it is, OS. You want to be rewarded for eagerly and promptly joining the league, but you don't want to reward those that eagerly and promptly get to the hot free agents first. :D

I sent RockyTopEmpire the info needed to join. Should be full whenever he signs up.

Alright, I though I wasn't going to have to work tomorrow but I do. 8pm cst is 3am my time...I don't think Ill be up for the draft. I could set it as automatic but it might take a while, ill step out if there is someone who would like to take my place
