Farewell to BBall Seniors

I dont know how to explain just how much this senior class held this team together this year for their magical run. I think I will start off with Patterson. Always played to the most of his ability. You could tell that he left it all on the court every game. then their is stanley asumnu. A very gifted athlete. He had all the gifted ability in the world and could jump out of a building. alittle speratic at times but wow could he change the courses of games with his intense alley oops and break away slams. then their is eddie debro. even though he didnt play much, he brought alot of positive energy to the team and was and is a hard working individual. and finally, our leader and pg C.J. Watson. what a special guy he was for us. always came through in the clutch. if it was an assist or a jumper, he could get it for us. he took a beaten day in and day out, and still came to play everyday. He was the apittamy of vols baketball. here is my final salute to you, good luck to life after basketball..

I have a couple of classes with Eddie. Great guy. He works hard in the classroom as well. Not many can deal with being on a collegiate atheletics team AND be an Engineering Major!

IMO Asumnu should have bulked up a little and played tight end for the football team. Would have been All-American.

And Coach Fulmer should have let Meach play for CBP. Led his HS team to state championships 3 or 4 years in Oklahoma.

Those seniors won't be forgotten. I have a feeling that years from now we'll look back at this team almost like we do the '85 Sugar Vols. A team that put us in the national spotlight, overachieved, and were just a joy to watch.
