It's obvious we haven't worked out the offensive ineffeciencies, but just taking a glance at it, we have a really favorable schedule moving foward. (No Alabama, Missouri, Florida) We do have a final clash with Bruce at their place, but tonights matchup against UGA seems like the biggest test, so I think we have a realistic shot to finish 18-4 or 17-5 and 2nd or 3rd in final regular season standings.

Assuming we win at least 1-2 in the conference tournament, we should end up with at the very least a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament, right?

I think LSU Saturday will be a very tough test for this team.

Your right we should, but its all based on if Fulkerson can get it going. The freshmen can carry us, but we need some sort of inside presence.

Yea, assuming the bottom doesn't fall out and the season doesn't take a turn for the worst, a 3-4 seed is most likely. I really enjoy watching our guys play defense. Most all teams go through a stretch in the season where shots aren't falling; maybe (hopefully) we've been though ours'.

Easiest remaining game is tonight per analytics, not sure why you’d say biggest test? At LSU seemingly is a MUCH tougher test.

If we get up on Georgia sit Fulky he needs rest for Saturday it’ll be a tougher game vs LSU on the road than most think

LSU is very good offensively, which means Tennessee will have to score some points to win. They're very dangerous, and we will have to be very good defensively and cannot afford to get into a half court game with our offense.

Tennessee Volunteers

The say most likely a 3 seed as of today, most likely in order: 3, 4, 5, 2 and 6.

Obviously anything can happen but as a 2 or 3 seed you avoid the 1 seeds for awhile, would be nice to grab one of those.

Here is Jerry Palm's current Bracketology. He's got Tennessee as a #3 Seed opening the NCAA Tournament playing #14 Seed North Carolina-Greensboro.

2021 NCAA Tournament Bracket Predictions - Bracketology - College Basketball
It's funny what a money making business "Bracketology" has become. It's as if these bracketologists have some kind of special insight into the matchups and seedings. By the way Border, this is not a personal hit on you, whatsoever. I just don't pay attention to this stuff personally, because no one can see what the committee members are going to do at any point in the future, not even the members themselves.

It’s dumb. Predicting what the committee will do is a fools errand.

One reason for a 1 seed being so difficult, even if we were to run the table, Baylor and Gonzaga basically have 2 spots locked up, and I’d guess the winner of the B1G would get the other even w a couple more losses

At this point i think the BasketVols are a Sweet 16 team.
They should be, I think they are one of the best 16 teams in the country. Can come down to matchups and a little luck, but possible Elite 8. Still a lot of time to continue getting better. We’ve taken some lumps w our freshmen, Springer going down and getting Keon going, so I think by March we’ll be better for it.

Probably will be a 3 seed but I am still holding out my hopes for a 2 seed. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on 2 seed.
