Varsity Blues
Dazed and Confused - a stretch, but I'd argue that it's a football movie that never shows a single snap.

I live up the street from TC Williams HS (Remember the Titans). It's awkward because they are petitioning to change the name because TC Williams himself fought against segregation in the schools. He even said he didn't want the school named after him. Regardless, it's a great movie.

Brian's Song
We Are Marshall
Undefeated
Necessary Roughness
Waterboy

would also make my list in no particular order

The best football movie ever was Friday Night Lights IMO, and, to me, I’m not sure 2nd place would be all that close.

Invincible and The Express were good as well, as was Remember the Titans.

Most sports movies honestly suck, but the good ones are still easy to appreciate.

The Waterboy was probably the most enjoyable to me though.

The problem I have with sports movies and particularly football movies is they can't seem to get the depiction of the sport right. Little things like the clock not stopping on an incomplete pass.

Also The Blind Side is awful. Just awful. I can't believe Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for that.
