In preparation for this weekend's clash in Gainesville, share your favorite Gator "moments." I guess they don't HAVE to involve Tennessee, but if not, they better be really "special."
I'll start with the two most exciting moments I've witnessed at a game:
#1: The Kick. 2004. I'm not sure how you would describe the "Field Goal Dance" after Wilhoit's kick, but my guess is that we resembled a pogo stick on crack. I just remember jumping down the aisle at Neyland toward the endzone while embracing two of my best friends and wishing like heck that we were still young and stupid enough to hop that wall and vault over the security guards lining the field. Hey Zook: see ya' later, alligator.
#2: The Catch. 2003. It was hot, it was sweaty, and both my shirt and the UT offense were a little stinky until that point. We were in the Nosebleeds, about 3 rows from the top of Ben Hill Griffen. The play went away from us and you could barely see what happened, but the groan of the stadium resembled the deep baritone of a rolling alligator and told it all. 30 minutes of football later, and with an even smellier shirt (or had I lost it by then?), we were 2-0 at Gainesville in the 21st century.
