Since we're stuck in between 2 of the biggest holidays of the year I thought I'd see what everyone's favorite holiday is??

Thanksgiving. It hasnt been as completely commercialized. Good food. College football, only NY also has that. It's time with family, and a chance to be thankful and have fun together with no other stigmas, reasoning, or pressures.

Plus you typically get an extra day off, with most places being closed that Friday. A guarenteed 4 day weekend cant be overlooked.

Great answer but I kinda feel like Thanksgiving has been commercialized with Black Friday and all the "early sales"

I guess if I am claiming the full 4 day weekend I have to take black friday with it. I honestly didnt think of that before.

I dont participate in those sales, but that doesnt really matter for the sake of the argument.

To me black friday always felt like part of Christmas season. At least that's been my rule, no Christmas nothing before your big Thanksgiving meal.

Would you consider birthdays to be a holiday?

For me, my daughters birthday always feels special no matter how old she gets.

Actually, any holiday is great when you have good food and it’s spent with family and friends.

Thanksgiving I come from a huge family of great cooks so the food is always incredible. As a kid that was the time when all the cousins were together to play. As an adult I enjoy seeing my nieces and nephew and watching my kid play with them. Also there's all day football.

My second is National Signing Day or College Football Christmas as I call it

I gots kids and grandkids.

There is nothing (to me) more fun than watching them getting excited and open presents.

I feel like a kid again myself. They are sometimes overwhelmed. They are extremely grateful and play all day long.

My wife decorates right after Halloween. We have our shopping done usually before December. We cook, bake, have parties, and watch movies all December long.

My grandkids look forward to Christmas from Thanksgiving on. We have them each an Advent calendar so they really get amp’d up with excitement by opening up one tiny something every day of December until Christmas.

Plus I get to watch The Christmas Story and think about when I was young. Think of time long ago with family, and my father who passed many years ago……and spend time with my family now. I simply love it. My most favorite day of the year.

Last but for me most importantly I believe, and God has blessed me more than I have ever deserved. I get to share the story of the birth of Jesus with my grandkids and family.

My wife is also wonderful and always gets me something amazing……..she has for over 30 years every single time.
