Senna in the wet at Donington. As terrible of a sportsman as he was, he had true talent.

Magic. Lewis Hamilton. One of the happiest moments for me watching racing!

The Mustang driver missed almost every apex. If cars were exchanged, the Mustang would win going away.

Senna never drove for Ferrari. what does that have to do with anything?

You don't think someone who deliberately wrecked people, and nearly put them into the wall on more than one occasion, is a bad sportsman?

right, i forgot he wrecked Prost first. i also forgot he was the only driver to ever block another driver.

Of course, you are a Ferrari fan.

Don't forget punching a young Eddie Irvine for having the audacity to un-lap himself. People are getting too nostalgic for Senna these days, he was a great driver but as a sportsman he left a lot to be desired.

yeah, what a terrible person.

As his profile rose, Senna expressed concern over the widespread poverty in Brazil. After his death it was discovered that he had quietly donated an extremely large portion of his personal fortune (estimated at around $400 million) to aid poor children.[78] Shortly before his death, he created the framework for an organisation dedicated to Brazilian children, which later became Instituto Ayrton Senna.[79]

I will give Nerd some credit, Senna was a total jerk on the track. Off the track, couldn't have found a better human being though.

He was the start of the whole, "Give me the line or we're both going off." mentality. It's not simply about blocking. It's when you give the other guy the option of back out or crash that was what was terrible about his demeanor on track. Schumacher then took the worst attributes of Prost and Senna and became a super villain.

Exactly.

You may be one of the most underrated posters in this forum, imo.

Show me a driver who backs down from others and I'll show you a driver who hasn't won anything.

Really, cause I'll show you a driver that creates an opportunity by forcing a mistake instead of creating it by punching a hole in someone's sidepod.

Schuie also became a super winner too.

Back to the videos - this one is classic. Lotus racing in Australia. Check out how many passes this guy makes and how he takes the downhill section. Ballsy!
