I say mine are, in no particular order:

Fred White
J.J. McCleskey
Tony Thompson
Earnest Fields
Darryl Hardy
Greg Amsler.... just to name a few

Rick Clausen....Don't say he's not because he is...Why else would he not have gotten the starting job over Ainge?

you all are freakin nutts....in there day andy kelly was anything but underrated as well as james stewart and alvin harper. tony thompson was also far from underrated.

Alvin Harper was in Pickens shadow forever and James Stewart and Andy Kelly were local boys nobody gives local boys any credit

i honestly do think casey doesnt get enough respect still today.... its not that he was undderrated just that he got the job done in the ugliest worst way possible lol if that makes sense

He doesnt get any respect, and thats my defenition of underrated player. Not many people go in to Gainsville and Miami in there carrer and get the W. Espically in the same year.

Don't forget that he also won in Tuscaloosa twice. Our fans didn't like him because he wasn't a southerner. That's interesting because the same fans don't give Andy Kelly any credit, even though he's the only QB in the modern era to win multiple SEC titles, 89 & 90.
