Favre says Rodgers "fell into a good situation"

Sour grapes, but he did fall into a good situation....best WR/TE group in NFL, IMO.

I agree and I also think Rodgers is the best QB in the league right now. They could go undefeated this year. There is no reason they don't win at least 2 more Super Bowls.

Future headline: "Rodgers and the packers win second Superbowl; favre craps a brick."

He also complemented the kid too.

People (ESPN mainly) are looking to much into this one in an attempt to make more out of it than it actually is

The NFL record book would disagree. Most career completions, passing yards and touchdowns.

Not hard to have the most completions/yards when you have the most attempts...also not hard to have the most touchdowns when people don't care that you have the most interceptions, sacks and fumbles as well...

Every record Brett Favre has basically just says he played for a really long time.

Sounded to me like he thought that team was damn good, and that Rodgers fell into a good spot. I don't know why it's a big deal.

How many seasons did Rodgers get to sit on the bench & learn a little about the NFL game before he started? He wasn't just thrown to the wolves from the get go like a lot of these guys.

Aaron Rodgers is better right now than Brett Favre has been at any point in the last 15 years. At least.

Brett Favre needs to stop attention whoring and go away.

That is what ESPN does. If they can't report any news, they fabricate it.

Favre fell into a pretty good deal as well with Holgren as his coach from the 49ers dynasty and Ron Wolf putting together one of the most talented teams of all time. I love Favre, but I hope he doesn't forget he had Sterling Sharpe, Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman, Bubba Franks, etc. for his time there, plus he had a defense led by Reggie White, LeRoy Butler, Darren Sharper and others to cover for some of his recklessness. I can't remember a team having both the #1 offense and defense like the '96 Packers had.

In fact, how did we only get 1 Super Bowl out of that group? Damn you John Elway and our Dallas Cowboys mental block!
