I know this has nothing to do with Tennessee, but who thinks brad childress is a moron for trying to restrict brett favre? I mean the guy has more playing experience then brad has coaching. A.P. isn't the key to that offense it's brett. it showed last night when brett came back and made an impossible throw just for A.P. tocost them the game.

We do have a NFL forum... But your statement is crazy.. Peterson was running like a mad man last night. Vikings were lucky to even be in the game

your right it has nothing to do with Tennessee, but you have my attention. IF the Vikings want a shot in the playoffs, Favre needs to be rested. At his age he cant go week in and week out throwing the ball like that and stay at 100%. The way he declined last year showed that. IMO Childress needs to sit Favre for at least the second half of this weeks game if not the entire game just to guarantee a weeks worth of rest. You have to look at the big picture and that a superbowl.

+1 Favre took some huge shots late in the game... When they were down i think 17-0 at the half? he should have been sat the second half..imo

I hope we pull Farve from Southern Miss...but then again, he'll probably be a bust and won't do anything in the NFL.

When the NFL guys on espn start coughing in reference to AP you should know he's cost them more than just this game!

The Vikings wouldn't even be in the playoffs if it weren't for AP. They got there last year with Tavaris Jackson.

AP has 20 fumbles in three years in the league, which leads over that time period. He also has 7 this year which is tops again, I don't care how good you are that is a killer to any team.

He's good but he reminds me of somebody who seemed to fumble regularly and at the worst time. That guy played in orange I believe.:D

Agreed...sadly itll take 32 retirements until he's played on every nfl team to try to win another ring

I respect the guy and his accomplishments.
But he is an attention whore.

There was a joke around my work that if you didnt like something going on, you would just pull a Brett Favre for a couple days and then people will pay attention.

favre should still not be above the coach or his decisions. if anything, it looks worse on favre's part.

I still hate that the Falcons traded Favre.....:banghead2::banghead2::banghead2:

He was an out of shape, alcoholic, fat ass when he was with the Falcons. He had no work ethic and could not care less about the team then.....they had no choice.

He was just having fun and being a kid out there, how dare you.
