Fayton signs with Bears

C.J. Fayton, who starred at Princess Anne High before playing at the University of Tennessee, has signed a rookie free agent contract with the Chicago Bears. Fayton, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver, caught 74 passes for 981 yards and seven TDs in four seasons at Tennessee. The Bears' Web site reported Fayton was invited to a rookie minicamp with the Bears on May 5-7 and impressed the coaches.

Good for him I hope that it works out for him. I know that it is hard to actually make an NFL roster as a rookie free agents but I truly hope that he can get it done.

This kid was all world athlete coming out of high school but didn't play up to standards as a receiver. It just goes to show you that if you have talent you can make it anywhere. Good job C.J.! :yes:
