I thought I'd start a playoff thread for the lower divisions. I don't pay a ton of attention to FCS or lower during the season, except for OVC scores, but I like the playoff season because...well it's college football and there's not much on until the bowls start.

This weekend is the Quarterfinals round for FCS, and starts tonight with Towson at Eastern Illinois at 8:00 ET on ESPN2.

Word on the street is Saban flew into Grand Forks today for the open UND coaching spot. Been scoping out the area for months. My sources tell me he has a lucrative contrAct in hand for $200K/year. Will make him the highest paid FCS coach ever.

Division 2- Would like to see NW Missouri State win another title. Just a little north of here.

Feel bad for Coach Dino Babers. He's done an outstanding job at EIU in only two years. I hope he applies for the Arkie St job. His close ties to Texas high school talent would serve them well.

Watching EIU was like watching you guys on offense. They would of been stomped by NDSU.

NDSU is easily the most talented in FCS, they should cruise to their 3rd straight title.

North Dakota St easily beats Coastal Carolina 48-14

Mount Union beat North Central 41-40
Lenoir-Rhyne beat West Chester 42-14.
