You gotta love the effort by our Coaching Staff in getting top players to visit these last 3 weeks. We will finish well on NSD.

i definitely feel we'll come out of this shining!! Even if we don't get everyone we're after,we are still one step closer to building a winning team.

I can't see these guys ever having the #35 recruiting class. Glad to see them taking it seriously. Their next class will be amazing. I like their focus and positive energy.

Even if the staff fails to sign one single kid who visited this weekend, I will still have to tip my cap to them for their effort during the past few weeks. To get some of these kids, who wouldn't have ever given the Big Orange a second thought, to even visit the campus on such short notice is a feat in itself. Our program is in good hands.

If we fail to sign one single kid I will be absolutely pissed! Not to mention I would be a wreck unitl NSD.. and probably after.

We need to get a couple of these guys, but their effort in JUST getting them to visit says something about what we have to look forward to.

There ain't nothing good about getting a tug and her quitting right before the finish pal...there ain't nothing good about them hands.

We're already in the top 20 so it's not like we didn't "get some".

This post just took it to the next level; I am speechless...I am without speech

Yeah....wasn't exactly what I meant by feeling good.

Really just looking to give kudos to the Recruiting efforts by our Staff.

I'm just saying, just getting them here and none of them committing doesn't do us any good. They need to sign. Come August it doesn't help us win on the field to say, "yeah, we had some awesome recruits in Knoxville on 1/30/09, but we didn't get any." There's nothing impressive about that. If anything, that is terrible. That means they came here, spent time with the staff, met players, looked at the facilities & campus...and then picked another school.

Has anyone heard any rumors about the visitors that are on campus now ? Have we got any signed ?

Coach Kiffin went after EXACLY the players he wanted just like he did his assistant coaches. Sometimes he was and is harsh and let someone go or turn away someone wanting to come to UT. Also he has pissed off a lot of people because people are used to a easy come and go atmosphere that existed in Fulmer’s program. Since his job rides on the coaches and players he selects, the standard he uses should be his standard. :superman:
