Felons cannot vote

Just remembered this the other day. I had learned about it years ago in school but it had slipped my mind until one of my employees mentioned they wouldn't be able to vote for Obama due to it.

I was wondering how this is legal?

not really, ACORN was around in 2008 registering felons and dead people as members of the Dallas Cowboys and Disney characters

although I'm sure union stooges from SEIU will take up ACORN's mantle of registering asparagus spears to vote

True, I'm sure. But now, thanks to GS, all of the Mooselimbs know that Obama is one of them. So it will probably work out to about the same.

This is currently a states issue. In some states, felons can vote; in others, they cannot.

Yup. In TN felons aren't. But 7 years after your conviction you can apply to get your vote back. I won't be eligible tis election but in january I'll be submitting my application.

Basically if you're a felon then you're no longer a citizen. So what's the point of even letting people out of jail?

90% of my staff have felonies which means I actually give them a second chance at life.

Almost 70% are white.
