Women are getting sterilized, so they can control their own bodies. I am surprised these women are this foolish. If you mutilate yourself over a lost election, who are you hurting?

"It's not a procedure you'd expect a 28-year-old to be planning. But for Lydia Echols from Texas, having her fallopian tubes removed is the price she's willing to pay to ensure her reproductive rights.

Newsweek spoke to five women who have either undergone sterilization procedures or plan to in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump's victory on November 5. They all expressed fear their reproductive choices will be taken from them under Trump's administration.

"If I am to be denied any rights in the next four (or more) years, I will not give them up without a fight," Echols said."

I’m confused how having her fallopian tubes removed is ensuring her reproductive rights. Seems backwards and perhaps a desperate cry for attention.

That seems kind of counterproductive 😂

I can tell you from experience, what you want at 28 is not what you want at say, 32.. and if you meet the right man.. you can go from I don’t want kids to desperately wanting a baby just like that 😂 that is way too overreactive and permanent to do something like that

These people are highly unstable. I wish them the best though and wish evillawyer a quick recovery from the procedure.

Well, they say it is ‘reversible’ if you have a tubal ligation (as opposed to all out removal), but it also decreases your fertility chances significantly, it’s so weird to do something like that to prove a point 😂 you’d only be hurting yourself… so evillawyer is a woman?

Great to see these woman taking their reproductive rights into their own hands and preemptively reducing the numbers of future leftists while making the abortion issue a moot point at the same time.🤦‍♀️🤣
This right here^^^^

This just proves how stupid and backward thinking leftists are. These are the same people who didn't want kids because of climate change. They are an embarrassment to humanity.

The mental health crisis is exploding.
It really is. I attribute it to news media over the last 12 years. Sort of a Stockholm syndrome.

I had an argument with my brother over the election. He used to be a conservative but married a flaming liberal and has since converted. He actually believes that Trump is going to remove all women's rights. Will track their periods, remove their rights to vote. Mentioned the Handmaiden's tale. I apologized for laughing. But this goes to show how influential news media is.

My condolences for the loss of your brother. Those body snatchers are vicious.

Ah, we're ok. I'm just surprised at how susceptible to manipulation he's gotten.

He said but Trump is a POS. I said if you expect me to defend his character, then you've come to the wrong place. I realize his faults, do you realize the faults of the person you voted for? He then went on to talk about how intelligent she was. I just said, we're done here.

Straight feminists have embraced the 4B movement from South Korea.
They are promising : No sex. No dating. No marrying men. No children. with men, until Trump leaves office.

If I'd have known Trump was going to be this effective even before he was sworn in, i would have campaigned for him.

I've yet to meet anyone that far gone. My DIL's best friend is a wacko liberal and she cut off their friendship after the election, I told her she came out on the good end of that deal if she's that stupid.

I fail to see the downside here.

A.) Probably doesn't want children
B.) not smart enough to realize her "response" is quite literally giving her reproductive rights away
She didn’t think this one through. Probably best for her not to be the spokesperson for reproductive rights.
