Loved those shows as a kid. Had most of the stuff listed along with others. If you have never tried any of his wine you are missing out.
With all the reboots and do overs that Hollywood does these days. I have long thought about Crockett and Boone being done with today's technology. I for one would enjoy seeing them again. Old friends that to many have forgotten and just what they meant to this country. To bad parker would not be the one to do them.....R.I.P.

An article in one of the local area papers Citizen tribune out of Morristown had a story and picture of\about Fess Parker this morning.
It was Morristown's Centennial celebration week (MAY 30 1955) For which Mr. Parker attended and centered on the excavation of Crockett well. Which is now THE CROCKETT TAVERN. He appeared at the Old Princess Theatre in down Morristown which screened The first three episodes of the Davey Crockett series. Which had been converted into the movie Davey Crockett king of the wild frontier.
His visit was directly Responsible for the building of Crockett Tavern in 1956.
