i'm confused as to why the people would want to change the great leadership of gibb's utopia?

Cuban cigars are mostly wildly overrated. DR makes plenty that are just as good or even better...

Except the case of Montecristo 2's I have in the humidor downstairs. Dem things is for real.

He has not been running things in Cuba for five years or so. He announced this last month. It is no surprise. And Fidel routinely shook things up over the Cuban Path to Socialism.

The shock, I think, to Western sensibilities was the smoothness of the transition to Raul.

Regardless, it is very interesting. The Cuban Way has been outside the history of the last 40 years. At a time when we must change our daily lives, the Cuban Way offers a real world look at the triumphs, and the inevitable mistakes, of a new way forward.

he could always travel to Canada for them since Canada never had a trade embargo against Cuba.

I always liked them, and ISOMs typically score rather high.

I have two in my humidior, but they are probably dead sticks since the blasted thing won't hold humidity for crap. Even if I use beads, doesn't matter.

Yeah, had a buddy whose dad worked in the state department, so naturally he got all kinds of crap like that. He gave one to each of the crew as high school graduation presents when we had a poker night a few weeks after finishing. They were real nice. I made the comment that he was giving damn fine cigars to a bunch of kids who probably had no idea what they were smoking. He told me that they came into cases of the things almost weekly.

indeed, because jerry-rigging 50 year old Studebakers to run on fermented dog piss is such a wonderful path for the US to take.

One of the many amazing comments below the article...

@nologin: If capitalist Singapore would get sanctioned it would be one of the poorest countries on earth. It is just rich because it has access to foreign products. The same with countries like Denmark, Ireland or New Zealand. All those countries would be third world without the big nations.

We have to say it is a wonder that Cuba could guarantee its citizen such a great standard of life even when it suffers from sanctions.

Typo. I posted from my phone and it apparently auto-corrected.

I edited the original post to put the correct link like I just edited this post. If I hold down and select "cut all" then it removes even the "Posted on Volnation Mobile."
