Who will be filling out the final spots on the 2010 recruiting class? Seems people are jumping on board so fast and so early this year, yet few remaining spots available.

How many spots are available in this years class? There are 15 or 16 committed already.

1. Cobbs
2. Deitrich Riley
3. Mustafa Greene
4. Jeff Luc (wishful thinking)
5. Brunetti (will change his mind)
6. Keenan Allen ( would look good in orange)
7. Dunkley would be a nice addition from Pahokee as well

Am I way off course or what?

Yeah you are way off...

We aren't a player at all for Allen, at all.

Luc has not named a Top 3, and will most likely stay in the state of Florida.

Green just most likely won't end up here, I don't believe we are that high on him.

Dunk is most likely a UF silent, and I'd prefer not to get him.

And I've personally cooled on Brunnetti. I used to think we would turn him, but I believe the staff thinks they have a better shot at turning Bray.

And we are going to pick up more O-Linemen, most likely James Stone, Damien Robinson, or some JUCOs.

We will back count some of the early enrollees. A couple guys will quit the team or transfer in August that aren't contributing. I expect a number closer to 28.

I was hoping rather than telling me I'm wrong for others to contribute their thoughts. The information I get comes mostly from this site anyways. Cobbs seems to be someone most believe in. Who else? Any ideas?

I'm confident we get Cobbs and Riley. I also think we'll get 1 of James Stone and Damien Robinson.

Riley and Stone would be nice. All of the video I have ever seen of Allen shows him being hard to cover and very soft hands. Maybe I'm not a good evaluator but to me he seems like a great recruit.

Allen is a very good prospect, he just isn't considering Tennessee. Will go to either Oregon or Alabama, probably Oregon.

My take

1. Cobbs Yes
2. Deitrich Riley Yes
3. Mustafa Greene No
4. Jeff Luc (wishful thinking) Maybe
5. Brunetti (will change his mind) No, Bray and maybe if a 2 someone like Cam Newton a project
6. Keenan Allen ( would look good in orange) Do not know
7. Dunkley would be a nice addition from Pahokee as well
Think he will be at UF.

I think we get Uko. I think we get another Cali player also, either Ronald Powell or Josh Shirley.

I also think that we end up with Stone or Robinson and possibly both. If we get only one, I think we full court press Leifheit and get him.

So 2 OL
Cobbs
Riley
Luc
Uko
Powell or Shirley

Would leave us with 8 more to the class which is very doable. Lots of people have us getting a 4* RB in this class. I think when all is said and done, TN has 8-9 victories and a bowl win and we end up telling some great kids like Trimble that we do not have room and they end up at Auburn. That means we will be after 1 Kiffin season back at the elite recruiting level where we get the guys we want. After this in 2011 we will not be looking for Jucos, we will have the QB we want and we will start having negative recruiters say "yeah they say you will play as a freshman but look at the talent ahead of you" which will be true as to RBs, but it has not slowed USC in their recruiting...
