I know there's a NCAA tourney thread but I thought I would start one specifically for the Final Four...

What do you guys think?

Who's the favorite at this point?

UNC looks pretty good...so does UConn...

Some people say Nova was the hottest team in the Big East at the end of the season...

And MSU...who saw that coming? Not me...

Thoughts?

I say it's UCONN and UNC in the NCG. Hopefully Thabeet will just bust Hansbrough open Gerald Henderson style and I think UCONN wins. Price can match up w/ Lawson, and if UCONN can guard the perimeter, they will win it.

That's the one I want to see too...

I don't think Nova has the inside game to beat UNC and I think MSU will just get outmanned...

In the NC game I think Price will match up well with Lawson ...but I don't think anyone can really stop Lawson completely...

I think the key for UNC is Green and Ellington...if they're hot from outside (which Ellington has been for about a month now and Green has turned it back on recently) then I think UNC will win it...

If they come out cold UNC loses

I thought Louisville firing on all cylinders had the best chance of running with UNC. With them out of the way, I don't see either of the other two Big East schools keeping up with UNC in a full court game. Its always possible though.

Michigan State got housed by Carolina in the pre-conference schedule, might be looking for revenge. Definately a much better team now than then.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be UNC.

If I had to pick a dark horse/underdog it would probably be Villanova.

UNC has a history of not making it out of the semis, but IF they make it past Nova then I think UConn will be an extremely tough matchup. Don't want to play MSU again either -- especially after beating them by 35 earlier this season on the same court. They (and their fans) will be out for blood. Should be a great FF.

You're right about their FF history...it sucks...

It never ceases to amaze me that a program as storied as UNC doesn't have more NC's...they have most of the meaningful NCAA tourney records(wins, FF appearances, #1 seeds) but they only have 4 NC's(I think that's right)...

As far as the revenge factor goes...revenge only takes you so far...then talent and depth take over....if those two teams meet again it will be alot closer than 35 points but UNC will win easily

I've always thought using the number of titles was a strange way to value the strength of a program. Statistically speaking, UNC should have no more than 5 titles (actually 4.5) with 18 FFs... and that could happen this year.

I agree about the revenge factor as well. At this level, it doesn't really make a difference. Still, no game will be easy at this level either.

UNC is definitely the favorite, followed by UConn. I can see Nova giving unc some problems with their tenancious D, but the Heels have got a lot of horses--they are not dependent on anybody, and Lawson is playing great. Nova will have to shoot really well to win it. The UConn/Mich. State game should be close--maybe even a tossup. Two good defensive teams, two good half-court teams. MS has more depth than UConn, and will essentially be playing at home. Thabeet needs to stay close to the basket and not wonder outside as he does occasionally. When he stays in the paint on defense, the huskies give up very little inside.

Cleaning products - Goin green and feeling greatBlack Mold can be a serious threat that many people are unaware of. Another bad thing is that there are many homes that have high levels of black Mold growing which could be harming their health. Needless to say that toxic Mold is a true force when it comes to bringing hardship to our health. Fortunately we have some weapons to battle black Mold spores that can turn toxic. If you do not react fast enough, you will find yourself always being tired and having breathing issues.Non acidic cleaning products are a diamond in the rough when it comes to Mold cleaning. Detering the black Mold spores to find another place to live besides your home will greatly help with preventing a Mold outbreak. Have a look around the home and if you see areas that are dark and musty and get some sunlight in there if you can. These areas would be the kitchen and bathroom areas. Another place that promotes Mold growth is the closet area. The next thing on your list should be to buy a Mold blocker as your wepaon of choice to kill black Mold. It wont be hard to find you an all in one Mold cleaner that destroys and prevents black Mold. Many of these safe cleaning products will not harm your family or pets when you use them. One of the best feelings when owning your own home is knowing that your family is safe from breathing the toxic fumes of black Mold. Knowing that your family is safe and free from black Mold will let you sleep better at night. It only takes Mold a couple of days to turn toxic so make sure you are prepared to remove it as fast as possible.

So you think UConn as well?
