This reeks of a panic hire after Hart was shot down by his good buddy Jimbo and he got played by Sexton with Gundy and by Strong working on his own.

Except Dooley had no offers to be a head coach except from us. Also he didn't have near the record as a head coach that butch jones has. Not thrilled with the hire but at least it's a winner this time instead of someone who doesn't have the mentality or pedigree of winning games. Say what you want but that makes a difference. Maybe he'll bring a different mentality to the team and they will expect to win next year instead of expecting to lose

Narduzzi is the favorite for the now-vacant Cincinnati job. It's very possible they'll end up with a better coach than we have.

Also, we have literally zero chance at 8-9 wins without Bray/Hunter/Patterson. I wish I could be more positive, but this is going to be a long few years.
