Hiring Finebaum, and laying off 300-400 other workers...how much are they paying him?
When he goes there, it will be more of a sports show than a Jerry Springer type of show, IMO. People bash him but he did that type of show because that's what Alabama and Auburn fans wanted and turned it into.
People forget (or some never knew) Jerry was a very well respected politician in the midwest for a very long time (and still is for a large part).
But people also forget that conflict sells. If you told me I had to make fun of different fans and rile up for a successful TV show and be nationwide famous and make hundreds of thousands doing it? Yeah, I'd ask if we need to make fun of a certain group more for better publicity.

Exactly. Paul doesn't really hate Tennessee, hes just selling his program to his listeners. Tennessee fans get upset about it but it is what is. Hes very successful at what he does
He's just a less successful Skip bayless. It's almost like people don't believe that news anchors, media personalities, or even actors/athletes could put on a show for a public persona that isn't like how they are in real life.
For the best example, see Stephen Colbert.
I don't think he can do a "sports show" he doesn't know anything about X's and O's, he has made his living from pitting AU and UA people against each other. Plus hugging Saban's ballsack.
His national ratings on Sirius were bad, I see this as being no different. He should have just stayed in B-ham where his Jerry Springer act works.
