you'll get plenty but he will be riding the bench until 2024. Milton is in the drivers seat now.
Milton will definitely start the season but that seat may not be to secure if he can't produce they way we need him to. Remember this is a guy that has never played a full season so anything can happen. If Nico learns like they say he does it's a possibility we could see him in 2023. Milton will be the guy to start but he has to prove he can stay there and that he hasn't done.

Jackson will push both of them.

Do you see us beating UGA, Bama, A&M, UF with overthrow Joe? I don't think he can beat any of the good teams. Just not consistent enough. And before you say "well with another off-season they can correct it," no, it won't help. The man has 5 seasons of CFB under his belt. He is who he is at this point.

Couldn’t agree more. If he struggles in the bowl game then they need to go get a QB in the portal and figure out how to win games next year until Nico is ready

We can certainly beat them with Milton. He is going to have a Cam Newton type year........jump on board now and enjoy the ride.
Dec. 30th will be the preview.

One would have to think that the pressure on Milton will be substantial. He knows this game is important to his future as the starting QB at UT. He will be the man instead of coming in for mop up duty. Different expectations and the caliber of opponent will be much, much better. I'll be interested to see how he handles the stage and moment.

We still have Jackson in that room as well and I believe he was a high 4* kid outta high school. So he may be able to push for PT. I’d like to see all our QBs successful!

I agree. Would love to see Milton get it figured out. If he can’t it will be interesting to see what Jackson can do or if they start looking in the portal. Just want to win

Yea, I think he’s better than some think. Ultimately it’s gonna be who is best at running the offense. Of course the offense will be tweaked to take advantage of our players specific skills but Heupel‘s offense requires a QB who can see the entire field and quickly recognize the best option. And man Hooker was great at doing both most of the time.

I think they slow the offense down and run more with still deep passing and short passing.
