Well since our grandkids aren't gonna have to spot Bama & Florida 50 points every year....I gotta say Kiffin.

Great for those who reap the benefits of socialism. Not great for those who have to pay for it.

Kiffin is generating cash and has hired the right folks to do the right things.

Gotta give it to CLK. I feel much better about the direction of the UT football program than I do the USA

obama has been laughed at by the rest of the world because of his obsession with nuclear non-proliferation. kiffin has been laughed at for his shots at other coaches and programs.

kiffin wins cause he has come through on all of his promises so far. intense staff, high energy practice, top recruits etc...

obama gave key positions in his administration to lobbyists after saying they would have no place in his administration, and gave clinton the secretary of state position after attacking her on her foreign policy stances. These are just two campaign statements he has backed off of. There are more

The only thing this thread proves is that roughly 4 out of every 50 posters on Volnation are blind and clueless. Nonetheless.....Go Vols.

Kiffin.

The Obama First 100 days thing is a joke. Regardless of your political beliefs, the man will need more than 100 days to fix this economy.

I can't think of a single, rational reason to even try to compare a politician (of any stripe/party) to a football coach (of any league/team). Two completely different environments, and only one of them is a game.

You might as well just rename this thread to "The (Latest) Obama Bashing Thread", because that's all it will become, and probably, all it was intended to be.

And I thought we were here to talk about the Vols ... silly me. :)

The OP wasn't directly comparing the two. Maybe you're struggling with the idea that each stepped into a new job surrounding by enormous, even overblown, expectations, but it's what happened. The question posed is asking about how each performed at his particular job, relative to the demands and expectations of that particular gig. It's just not that hard.

Gotta be a tie.

Both are at the top echelons of their professions!
Both have the best supporting staffs available!
Both are beloved by the people!
