I was listening to the Sports Animal this morning, and they were complaining about the early start for the UAB game and how a lot of UT fans wouldn't show up because of the heat.

Are you freakin' kidding me? With the anticipation of this squad, 8 months of football-withdrawal, and the next home game almost a month away, who in the heck would miss this game???

If you are planning to reply "me," then I suggest going to bed and logging on to: www.notavolsfan.com in the morning.

No Doc, the ones that would be repying "me" because of the heat would need to log on to....

Frankly, I'm tired of all the oldtimers in the stands. I'm tired of them sitting on thier hands complaining that Phil screwed Johnny, and then looking at me when I stand up to cheer for a TD, like I just spit in their oatbran.

Got mine today, too. It's on like Donkey-Kong.

As for the old-farts: stand up and cheer -- it's a football game, not a game of Bridge. And please, do NOT scowl at me if I just so happen to stand up and yell at the top of my lungs when we sack the opposing QB.

Wouldnt miss it, if it was a 4am kickoff!

Any elders ive sat around have been pretty jacked up, Or half lit and curse at the play calling. The last was KY, poor guy and his wife started at kickoff and never let up on RS. My g/f even asked me who SOB was? :dunno:

Wow, I must be in a pretty tame section. :clapping: Everybody cheers, except for the occasional visitor for the other team.

Yeah, I never heard such a fit. I wanted to ask him why he wasnt the OC? I knew KY would fight and we had locked up the East.
No excuse to over look any team, But he and his wife was the worst ive seen. Very sad display of a "fan". :bad:

Im pretty sick of the old timers too because they make the satdium less loud. If we had a crowd of 107,000 plus that were 35 years and younger, our stadium would be so freakin loud. But lets think about it guys, we'll all be oldtimers one day too, so lets remember the old timers during our younger days. When we get there, lets remember to stay intense and make tons fo noise, or lets stay at home and watch it from the recliner.

If I ever get to the point that I'm not cheering, I'll GIVE my tickets away.

AMEN !!!

I get so excited I can hardly stand it, if you're not going to cheer then let someone else buy the ticket. It not like we have to fill empty seats.

So yeah... I'll probably be doing something else because it won't be on TV here at all.

Well, you would have been able to see it if people weren't complaining about the night games on Sunday....

Thats what stinks! Not everyone gets jacked up for a game unless it Bama, Fla, Ga etc. Then its hard as can be to get a ticket with out getting reamed out. I was blown away by the UNLV crowd, I guess most of that was it being moved from early sat to eve sun.
